OUR LONGARM QUILTING SERVICES
Quality Edge-to-Edge Computerized longarm quilting
Quilts are quilted in the order they arrive at my studio, and once your quilt is here, the typical turnaround time is about two weeks. I’ll work with care to choose the perfect design, thread, and quilting density to enhance your quilt top and ensure your piecing is beautifully secured. I never charge extra for thread—your quilt will be stitched using high-quality Superior or Glide thread.
I’m not a volume quilter; I handle each quilt personally, from loading to the final stitch. Your quilt will be treated with great care every step of the way to help deliver stunning, professional results. I’m known for quilting with a bit more structure—so the back of your quilt will look just as lovely as the front.
I will trim your quilt after quilting, I’m happy to do that, unless you tell me not to and I’ll return the trimmings with your finished quilt.

Quilting By Kristin provides all-over digital edge-to-edge longarm quilting services. We carry a variety of solid colored thread. We will select the best color thread to compliment your quilt top. If you have a specific color preference, we’ll do our best to accommodate.
We use the same color thread for both the top and backing unless otherwise specified.

Quilt Prepping
Use these checklists to prepare your quilt top, backing, and batting before handing it off to be quilted.
Quilt Top
- Trim loose threads
- Square-up
- Stay-stitch 1/8” around any heavily pieced edges (ex. piano key border)
- Press
- Remove all straight pins and save embellishments for after quilting
- If directional, mark quilt top with a safety pin
Backing
- Must be a minimum of 6-8” larger than width and length of the quilt top
- Ready to use (pieced if needed)
- Square-up
- Press seam open and cut off any selvage in the seam
- If directional, mark backing top with a safety pin
Batting
You will need to provide your own batting:
- Must be a minimum of 6-8” larger than width and length of the quilt top
- Remove any wrinkles/creases you don’t want to see in the finished quilt
- Do not baste to quilt top or backing
Quilt tops, backings, or batting not prepped to specifications listed above, they may be subject to additional service charges.

Our pricing is straightforward and competitive. Edge-to-edge quilting is priced per square inch. We’ll give you a clear estimate before quilting begins, and there are no hidden fees.
Base Pricing:
Edge-to-Edge Quilting: Starting at $0.0275 per square inch
Semi-Custom Quilting: Starting at $0.0475 per square inch
Minimum Charge: $55
Turnaround times vary depending on the season and the complexity of your quilt. Typical edge-to-edge projects are completed in 1 to 2 weeks. Rush orders may be available — just ask!
